Trophée Roses des Sables

Sport, solidarity and feminity: this is Trophée Roses des Sables.

It was tough. It was risky. It was exhausting. But it was so worth it! With BFGoodrich, Dorothée Dussart and Marine Daures, the Ellesirocco team, followed the tradition of African auto gatherings and pushed their limits in the Moroccan south at the 15th edition of the Trophée Roses des Sables, October 7-18, 2015.

On this adventure, where speed is not a priority, the goal was to reach the finishing line using only a road book, a map and a compass to bring joy, a smile and especially material to children in the desert. The goal was achieved.

“Sand, dunes, wadis, mountains, trails, desert fields… the trails were all different but I always felt confident and safe with BFGoodrich® All Terrain TA/KO2 tires. They were given a tough test from stage to stage but always guaranteed extreme comfort in terms of handling and grip on all types of surface. These tires meant we could live our dream right to the end, giving total satisfaction and not a single flat.”
Dorothée Dussart

This was my first experience of a rally, so I turned up feeling a little apprehensive, but very excited. We spent 15 wonderful days amidst breath-taking scenery tackling stages that were tough but incredibly exciting.
